Profile
I’m an internationally battle-tested problem solver who excels serving the C-suite, multinational organizations, entrepreneurs, communities, and major industrial, energy, military, and diplomatic operators. I have run strategic communications, infrastructure planning, and democracy-focused efforts in North America, Europe, the Balkans, Caucasus, and Africa. With this experience, I have developed a Swiss Army knife skillset centered on strategic business development, major organizational gap analyses, writing, research, data-driven planning, design, marketing, management, development, and culturally relevant stakeholder engagement. I am motivated to live and work deliberately – whether in the garden or racing around the world.
Capability
I currently serve as a CEO’s right hand and all-around go-to executive. Whether we’re in the trenches, boardroom, airport, or remote wilderness outpost, I’m a handy wing-person who’s always ready to help through reason, care, experience, humor, and data-grounded analysis. As a life-long responsibility junky, I know who I am, where my strengths lie, where I shouldn’t tread, and what makes me a valuable asset, team member, and loyal/discreet professional. I don’t need credit for the final score – just the team and the pitch that makes winning worthwhile.
Outlook
I learned to take risks at an early age. I also learned to face fear head-on and to bet on myself and those around me. And while I’ve shanked plenty of golf balls, been thrown from a few horses, and missed some fish, coveys, and down-the-line aces, short-term setbacks haven’t stopped me. My path wasn’t mapped out, nor was it linear – in fact, the curves and detours have often brought the most satisfaction and success. Most important, I’m working everyday to improve who I am and what I do – no matter the task, no matter the stakes, no matter the recognition.
